Meet the Overseas Events Team

Raelene Wilcock

Head of Overseas Events

Raelene leads the EIC’s Overseas Events team to ensure that all Overseas Exhibitions and Delegations are run efficiently and effectively. Raelene liaises with EIC members, non-members, UKTI, British Diplomatic Posts throughout the world, regional bodies and other organisations to gain invaluable support for the events programme, while also taking responsibility for competitive tenders for events contracts, cost management and marketing. Raelene, or a member of her team, is always available on-site at Overseas Events to offer support to exhibitors and respond to queries from visitors to the stand.

Harriet Fray

Overseas Events Coordinator

Harriet is the Coordinator for the Overseas Events team. She supports the Events Managers with the day to day administration associated with all of the Exhibitions and Delegations that are organised by this department.  Harriet is based in our Head Office in London and is always ready to help with all queries related to overseas events.

Mark Gamble

Overseas Events Manager

Mark Gamble is our newest overseas events manager and has the honour of being the first male in the overseas events team.  Mark is responsible for managing the UK Group as well as all aspects of overseas delegations in the Middle East, Sub-Saharan Africa and East Asia. Mark is responsible for all aspects of preparation of his events, as well as ensuring that everything runs smoothly on-site, is there to support all UK companies in the group and make sure that networking events are run successfully.  He also travels out to delegations in a liaison role, ensuring that the itinerary runs smoothly and delegates get the most out of the programme.

Laura Tavernor

Overseas Events Manager

Laura Tavernor is responsible for all aspects of UK Groups at international exhibitions and managing overseas delegations in North & Central America, Caribbean, Central & Western Asia, Australasia and North Africa.  Laura oversees exhibition preparation, including freight and stand construction, on behalf of UK companies. During exhibitions, Laura is on-site ensuring that everything runs smoothly, providing assistance and support, and organising receptions/networking events for the UK Group. For delegations, she travels with the group in a liaison role to ensure the delegation is run efficiently.

Camilla Tew

Overseas Events Manager

Camilla Tew manages all aspects of UK groups at international exhibitions and outward overseas delegations.  She is responsible for South America and South East Asia including India. Camilla looks after all preparation, including freight and stand construction, on behalf of UK companies. During exhibitions, Camilla is responsible for making sure that everything runs smoothly, providing assistance and support on-site and organising receptions/networking events for the UK group. For overseas delegations, she travels with the group in a liaison role to ensure the delegation is managed efficiently.
